“The morning Knight, Marcus au Crusus.” Has Venetia au Rein been retconned then or did Marcus retire before Darrow left for The Academy and Venetia only held the post for a year before Cassius?
Or is it like how Lorn is still addressed as Rage Knight a few times in Golden Son even though he’s technically retired?

I know it’s weird to say, but if my 5 bucks a month give me an endless series of filler between events of these books, it is some of the best money I have ever spent. Please please get this in front of Netflix at some point. There is just so much good stuff here. I have heard that Pierce is listening to Hurt while finishing the last, is that the NIN or the Cash version?

Talking about mercy in this chapter, and the whole story being a big rebellion pretty much, I would like to know what Pierce thinks of Star Wars: Andor if he’s watched it (if not he should absolutely do it). In the Andor series we take quite a different view at the galaxy far far away, far darker than usual, and mercy is a thing that does not really happen a lot of times. Or when it is shown in the slightest in all cases I can think of, consequences follow immediately. Quite a bit like the dark scenario Lorn describes. Bit unfortunately a bit of dirty work is needed to get the rebellion to its brighter future post Empire/Society.
